Sir John Holman, author of the Gatsby Foundation’s Good Career Guidance report, joined Future Talent LIVE to describe the evidence behind the Gatsby Benchmarks.

With the Benchmarks now embedded in the government’s careers strategy for schools and colleges, Sir John also highlighted a pilot in the north east of England which demonstrates their success in practice.

Senior adviser at the Gatsby Foundation, Sir John is the author of the Foundation’s Good Career Guidance report and immediate past president of the Royal Society of Chemistry. He is also emeritus professor at the Chemistry Department of the University of York. He was knighted for Services to Education in 2010.
