Presented in a new format, this issue provides four downloadable lesson plans for use by careers leaders and teachers, or by young people and their parents/guardians, covering the core human skills so vital to the modern world of work. Here, we explore the vital skills of ‘self-awareness’, ‘resilience’, ‘teamwork’ and ‘developing a growth mindset’. Each has an introduction explaining why the associated skill is beneficial personally, and at a career level, plus extension activities from Barclays LifeSkills.
Developed in partnership with leading employers, Future TalentEd magazine provides free downloadable lesson plans and resources for use by careers leaders and teachers, or by young people and their parents/guardians. These include many of the valuable ‘soft’ skills that we cover in our apprenticeship Level 3 and Level 5 Transformational Leadership Programmes. Supporting students to hone these skills will enable them to present themselves with confidence to employers and to thrive in the modern world of work.
